Motor Vehicle Assessor (full-time, permanent, urgently required)

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time.

Hours: Typical working hours are 08:00-16:00

Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience

Our Apprenticeship team have an exciting opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Assessor to handle the delivery and assessment of our level 2 & 3 apprenticeship programmes at our Pyle centre. You will be required to teach and assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours identified within the qualifications and apprenticeship scheme. In addition, you will be responsible for building relations with employers and undertaking on-site assessments, which in turn will further enhance the apprentices’ workplace learning experience, ensuring that apprentices are gaining the range of work to qualify.

This role will include teaching within the classroom and assessing on site.

What are the core responsibilities of this role?

  • Delivering the work-based element of the apprenticeship, including on-site assessments and observations.
  • Delivering the knowledge element of the apprenticeship at centre.
  • Liaising with staff delivering other elements of the apprenticeship framework, including learner support and Essential Skills to ensure an effective holistic programme for the learner.
  • Conducting effective reviews with the learner and employer to ensure progress is reviewed effectively and communicated.
  • Accurate recording of learner progress, attendance records and learner records inlcuding use of e-portfolio systems.

  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Essential Skills Tutor (full-time, permanent)

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time initially with scope for a full-time contract in coming months

Hours: Typical working hours are 08:00-16:00

Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience

The role will include delivery and support of Essential Skills Wales (ESW) Qualifications as part of Work Based Learning Programmes, including Apprenticeships in South Wales.

You will administer/mark Initial and Diagnostic Assessments, produce/ deliver learning plans in line with learners Literacy and Numeracy needs in order to achieve the required ESW Qualifications (Communication, Application of Number and Digital Literacy).

You will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage with and motivate learners with the ability to meet differentiated learning needs.

What are the core responsibilities of this role?

  • Manage a caseload of learners.
    Work with both individuals and groups of learners using a variety of teaching methods.
  • Mark and moderate work in line with company strategy and provide detailed oral and written feedback.
  • Complete contractual and company paperwork/records in line with company procedures.

BIT Assessor (full-time, permanent)

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 37.5 per week, typical working hours are Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00

Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience

XR Training have an exciting opportunity for a BIT Assessor to join our Apprenticeship team, delivering up to level 5 and covering the South Wales area. This opportunity will allow you to pass on your skills and inspire the next generation whilst working in a positive and vibrant learning environment. You will be responsible for assessing business improvement techniques up to level 3.

Electrotechnical Assessor (full-time, permanent)

Hours: 37.5 per week, typical working hours are Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00

Are you fully qualified in electrical installation? Do you have industry experience and current knowledge of industry working practices and techniques relevant to the building services engineering environment? Are you willing to share this knowledge and instil it into the future generation of electrical installers? If the answer is yes to any or all of the above, then this vacancy may be for you. 

Our Apprenticeship team have an exciting opportunity for an Electrotechnical Tutor/Assessor to support with the delivery and assessment of our level 2 & 3 electrical installation apprenticeship programmes at our Pyle centre. Working closely with the Apprenticeship team, your roles and responsibilities will include supporting cohorts of learners to achieve their aim of becoming fully qualified electricians.
